Using applications
Installing applications you want on your CLIÉ
handheld
You can install applications from the supplied Installation CD-ROM by
following procedures below.
Install the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software on your computer in advance
with the supplied Installation CD-ROM and connect the cradle to your
computer.
Note
The add-on applications are designed to operate on this CLIÉ handheld only.
Compatibility with other CLIÉ handheld or Palm OS
®
PDAs is not guaranteed.
Installing from the supplied Installation
CD-ROM

Quit all applications running on the Windows
®
operating
system.

Insert the installation CD-ROM (Installation CD-ROM
Ver1.0 for PEG-TG50 English) into the CD-ROM drive of
your computer.
The installation launcher window appears.
If the installation launcher window does not appear, click the CD-ROM
drive icon in Windows
®
Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe.

Click Next.
Install your preferred software. You can choose between CLIÉ audio
software, CLIÉ imaging software, CLIÉ internet software, CLIÉ utilities,
CLIÉ data management and demo software.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
installation.

Click Exit.
The installation ends.

Press the HotSync button on the cradle, to install the
application on your handheld.
