Touch Tone Service
You can save a phone number together with tone signals
and codes in your phonebook. When you call this entry,
the phone number and all the tone signal codes are then
dialed automatically. This could be useful, for example,
when accessing an answering machine or when using
telephone banking services.
Note! Saving personal codes in the phonebook involves a
risk if your phone is stolen. It is safer to save
personal codes in the Code Memo. See “Code
Memo” on page 39.
1 Scroll to
Phonebook, Select, Add Contact, Select.
2 Press
Edit and enter the name that you want to
associate with the phone number and code. Press
OK.
3 Scroll to
Other and press Edit.
4 Enter the phone number. Press and hold until
the pause character ( ) appears in the display.
Enter the code, if needed, enter another pause,
another code and so on. Press
OK.
5 Scroll to
Save and Exit and press Edit.
