Messaging

Text Messages
Text messages can contain pictures, animations, melodies
and sound effects. Text messages can be sent to one person,
several recipients or to a group saved in the phonebook.
Before You Start
A service center number is provided by your service provider
to send and receive text messages. It may already be saved on
the SIM card or you can add the number yourself.
To Check or Add a Service Center Number
1 } Messages } Settings } Text Message } Service Center.
The number is shown if it is saved on the SIM card.
2 If there is no number } Add and enter it, including the
international “+” sign and country code } Save.
To Write and Send a Text Message or Save a Draft
1 } Messages } Write New } Text Message.
2 Write your message } Continue or } Yes to save in
Drafts.
3 } Enter Phone No. and enter the recipient’s number, or
} Phonebook LookUp to retrieve a number or a group, or
select from the last 10 recipients list } Send.
If you send a text message to a group, you are charged
for each member of that group.
