Why doesn’t the phone work the way I want?
Some problems require that you call your service
provider, but most of the problems you can easily
correct yourself.
Before handing your phone in for repair, copy
all
saved items, messages and information to
another device as content may be lost during repair.

Gray menu options
A function is temporarily unavailable. The service
may not be activated or your subscription does not
support the function. Contact your service
provider.
Since you cannot send themes, pictures and
sounds that are copyright-protected, the
Send menu
may be unavailable.
The phone is working slowly
Select and delete unwanted content and then restart
the phone
% 7 To turn the phone on and off.
No indication of charging
The battery is empty or has not been used for
a long time.
It may take up to 30 minutes before the battery icon
appears on the screen.
The phone cannot be turned
on/Flashing red light (LED)
Recharge the battery % 6 To insert the SIM card
and charge the battery or
% 61 Battery.
Charging a non Sony Ericsson battery
If the battery you are using is not a Sony Ericsson
approved battery
% 61 Battery.
The wrong menu language is shown
If the wrong language is shown, you can select
from standby:
Press 0000 for English
Press 8888 for Automatic – SIM card
determined.
Master reset
Reset the phone by deleting the changes that you
have made to settings, and the content that you
have added or edited.
