T9 Text Input
T9 Text Input is another way to enter text messages
because it predicts the word you are trying to enter.With
predictive text input, you only need to press the key
once. When you press the keys different words are
suggested. If the word you want is not suggested, you can
edit the word using . The word is then added to your
phone’s dictionary so that it will be suggested the next
time you use T9.
Press
1 to accept the word and add a space.
Press the navigation key right to accept the word
without adding a space.
Press
0 to decline the suggested word.
Press the navigation key up or down to view
alternative word (candidates).
Quick Text
You can quickly compose text messages using Quick
Text. Quick Text is a set of predefined messages that you
can personalize or edit. For instance, “Meet me at _”.
You can simply fill in the blanks and send the message.
You can also edit the message and save it to use again.
You will be prompted to delete older messages when you
have reached the maximum number of messages. When
you are creating an SMS message, press , choose
Use
Quick Text
.
Icons
These icons will appear next to messages in Inbox,
Outbox, and Saved & Drafts. An exclamation mark (!)
next to the icon indicates urgent priority.
Note!
You can also press to accept a word, edit a
word, or see a list of candidates.
