Connection status is displayed on the bottom row of
the screen, in place of the softkey labels, when you
are operating the browser and at various times during

Browser Alerts
Through your browser, you can receive update messages
such as road reports, stock reports, and sports scores. The
new message icon ( ) will appear when you receive
new content in your browser. See your network provider
for more information.
Softkeys
The globe icon ( ), located between the softkey labels
on the bottom row of your display, indicates a
connection to the data network. In some instances, other
icons alternate with the globe icon during a WAP session.

Icons
Press * once to switch between the date/time, icon list,
and the softkey screen.

Signal Strength shows the relative signal strength
from the wireless system. More bars indicate a
stronger signal.

Globe indicates that you have established
a connection with the data network.

Ringer Off indicates that your phone will not make
any ring sounds.

Silent Mode indicates that your phone will not
make any sounds.
