Exchanging pictures
You can send pictures via IR, Multimedia Messaging
or e-mail and receive via IR or Multimedia Messaging.
For more information on sending pictures in messages,
see “Messaging” on page 44.
Note: You are not allowed to exchange copyright-
protected material.
To send a picture
1. Scroll to Fun & Games. , My pictures or
CommuniCam.
2. Select a picture, . Press .
3. Select Send, .
4. Select a transfer method.
To receive and save a picture
1. From standby, press , scroll to Activate IR.
2. When you receive the picture, press to save it in
My pictures.
When you receive a picture via a text message or a
multimedia message, a new message appears in your
Inbox. Highlight the picture in the message, press
and select Save to save in My pictures.
Screen saver
The phone has a screen saver, which is activated
automatically when the phone has been in idle mode
for a few seconds. After a short period of time the
screen saver changes to sleep mode, to save power.
To turn the screen saver On or Off
Scroll to Settings, , Display, , Screen saver,
, Activate.
To use a picture as the screen saver
You can select a picture, saved in the phone, and use it
as the screen saver.
1. Scroll to Settings, , Display, , Screen saver,
.
2. Scroll to Select picture, .
3. Scroll to the picture you want to use as the screen
saver, .
4. Press
to save.
Ring signals and melodies
Your phone comes with a number of standard and
polyphonic melodies which can be used as ring
signals. See “Icons” on page 73 for more information.
