Composing and Sending SMS Text Messages
With SMS Text Messaging, you can use other people’s wireless
phone numbers to send and receive messages from your
phone to their messaging-ready phones and they can send
messages to you.
To compose and send an SMS Text message:
1. Select > Messaging > Send Message > Text.
2. Select<Add Entry>to select a way of selecting a new
entry.
3. Press Done(left softkey) when you have finished
selecting and entering recipients. (You may include up
to 10 recipients per message.)
4. SelectNext(left softkey) and compose a message and
press when you are finished.

Press Mode(right softkey) for a different character
input mode. (See “Entering Text”on page 41.)
5. To set the message priority, scroll to Priority > Ordinary or
Urgent.
6. Review your message and press Send(left softkey). (You
can also select a callback number or change the
recipients by pressing Options[rightsoftkey].)
