• Toggle the [CHANNEL 1 2 34] softkey (F1) until 2 is highlighted.
• Press the [LIN SPEC CHANNEL 2] softkey (F3).
• Press the [ENTER] softkey (F7).
Set up display
• Press the [Disp Format] hardkey.
• Press the [QUAD] softkey (F6).
After a instrument preset the QUAD display format normally places PWR SPEC
CHANNEL 1 in Trcae A and PWR SPEC CHANNEL 2 in Trace B. If this is not the
case, then follow these steps:
• Press the [Active Trace] hardkey.
• Press the [A] softkey (F1).
• Press the [Meas Data] hardkey.
• Press the [CHANNEL 1 234] softkey (F1) until 1 is highlighted.
• Press the [PWR SPEC CHANNEL 1] softkey (F3)
• Press the [Active Trace] hardkey again.
• Press the [B] softkey (F2).
• Press the [CHANNEL 1 2 34] softkey (F1) until 2 is highlighted.
• Press the [PWR SPEC CHANNEL 2] softkey (F3).
Put the math function of the differential motion in Trace c:
• Press the [Active Trace] hardkey.
• Press the [C] softkey (F1).
• Press the [MORE CHOICES] softkey (F9).
• Press the [MATH FUNCTION] softkey (F7).
• Press the [F1] softkey (F1).
• Press the [Active Trace] hardkey again.
• Press the [D] softkey (F2).
• Press the [Meas Data] hardkey.
• Press the [FREQ RESP 2 / 1]] softkey (F6).
Set up trace coordinates as peak-to-peak mil
• Press the [Active Trace] hardkey.
• Press the [ABCD] softkey (F7).
• Press the [Trace Coord] hardkey.
• Press the [Y UNITS] softkey (F8).
• Toggle the [AMPLITUDE PK PP RMS] softkey (F1) until PP is
highlighted.
• Press the [XDCR UNIT CONVERT] softkey (F4).
• Press the [mil (DISP)] softkey (F8).
