Conventions Used In This Manual
The Test Set keys, screen titles, fields, and shifted functions are shown
using the following conventions: (Refer to the RX TEST screen and
the instrument front panel.)
• Screen titles are shown in bold upper-case type −RX TEST
• Field names and some measurements (such as AC Level) are indicated in
lowercase bold type −RF Gen Freq
• The contents of a field, and some measurements (such as SINAD) are
shown in italics – −100.000000 or underlined – RF In
• Key caps are shown in all capital letters − PRESET
• The SHIFT key is pressed and released to access the blue-labeled functions
printed above the keys. When a SHIFTed function is called-out in this man-
ual, the use of the SHIFT key is assumed and is not usually indicated. The
function to be accessed is shown in boxed italics text upper-case letters:
MSSG.
