Cassette 1 Paper Size Sensor
A mechanical switch is installed to the Cassette 1 to set the size of
the paper set. Unlike for the MP Cassette (MP Tray), the printer
detects the paper size set in the Cassette 1 (all universal cassettes)
by the paper size setting dial. Each notch on the setting dial
corresponds to different paper size. When the dial is turned, the
paper size sensor detects the notch for the corresponding paper
size to determine the paper size set in the paper cassette.
