Remove the power button board:
1. Turn the switch cover upside down with the front toward you.
2. Remove the Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screw 1 that secures the power button board to the switch cover.
3. Remove the power button board 2 and cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the power button board.
Speaker assembly

The Speaker assembly kit includes left and right speakers and cable.
Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the battery (see “Battery” on page 4-6).
5. Remove the switch cover and keyboard (see “Switch cover and keyboard” on page 4-18).
6. Remove the power button board (see “Power button board” on page 4-22)
Remove the speaker assembly.
1. Position the computer with the keyboard facing up its front edge toward you.
2. Disconnect the speaker cable 1 from the system board.
3. Remove the four Phillips PM2.0x4.0 screws 2 that secure the speaker assembly.
4. Remove the Phillips PM2.5x7.0 screw 3 that secures the center of the speaker assembly.
