Tone
Use the
TONE
button when
you
have rotary
telephone
service.
Pressing it will
allow
you
to change
from
pulse
to tone mode
during a
dialing operation, and enter special tones
and codes to
operate
answering machines,
electronic banking
services and other
soecial services.
Flash
Pressing
the FLASH
button can be used
instead
of
pressing
the hookswitch.
The
FLASH button
can be
used to access
call
waiting.

having
a
conversation,
another
party
calls and
you
hear
a tone, then
press
the FLASH
button.
The first
conversation is
placed
on hold
and
the second
call can be answered.
To
speak to the first
caller again
(the
second
caller is

button again.
You
may access some features
of
your
host PBX
using the
FLASH
button
instead
of the hookswitch. This
could be accomplished
by
pressing
the FLASH
button
in
a dial operation.

can
be stored
into memory

same
way
as storing
the telephone numbers
on
