Sending and receiving
messages
Your regular messaging fees apply
when sending and receiving messages.
Sending a text message
You can send Short Message Service
(SMS) text messages.
1. From the application tray, touch
Messaging > New Text Message.
2. Touch To.
3. To enter a recipient:
Enter a phone number or a
contact name and touch Done.
Touch Add from Contacts
and touch a contact from your
contacts list.
4. Touch Message.
5. Enter the text message.

6. Touch for additional options:
Touch Attach to add
attachments such as media,
contacts or events.
Touch Add Subject to add a
subject line.
Touch Add Cc to add carbon-
copy recipients.
Touch Call to place a phone
call.
Touch Add to Contacts to add
the number to your contacts list.
Touch View Contact to view
the contact information for the
recipient, if available.
Touch Discard to discard the
text message without saving it.
Touch Delete Thread to delete
the entire text thread.
7. Touch Send.
