Games & Apps Menu 7.1
Java is a technology developed by Sun Microsystems.
Similar to the way you would download the Java
Applet using the standard Netscape or MS Internet
Explorer browsers, Java MIDIet can be downloaded
using a WAP enabled phone. Depending on the service
provider, Java based programs such as Java games
can be downloaded and run on a phone. Once
downloaded, the Java program can be viewed within
the Games & Apps menu where you can select,
execute or delete. The Java program files saved in the
phone are in .JAD and .JAR formats.
n Note
The JAR file is a compressed format of the Java program
and the JAD file is a description file that includes all detailed
information. From the network, prior to download, you can
view all detailed file descriptions from the JAD file.
n Warning
Only J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) based programs will run in
a phone environment.
The J2SE (Java 2 Standard Edition) based programs will only
run in a PC environment.
Audios Menu 7.2
] Shop Tones: This menu option connects to
Cingular’s ringtone download site.
] Record Audio: You can record your own audio by
pressing the center key [Start].
] Files: You can view the audio files in the list.
MP3 Player Menu 7.3
] My Playlist: You can create your own play list with
the selected songs that you want from the list of All
Songs menu.
] All Songs: You can view the entire play list in the
external memory.
] Shuffle Songs: Plays the audio files in random order.
] Settings
zSet Shuffle: Random plays all the tracks.
zSet Repeat: This menu allows you to set the play
mode such as Repeat One, All and Off.
zVisualization: You can select the desired
equalizer picture on the main screen.
