2. Display Indicators
Shows which
type
of system the phone will use
when it is roaming (see “Carrier Selection (Menu
5 2 1)” on page 49.) Blank if Home-only system is
selected, or the phone is using a “preferred”
network.
The phone is using the Home system.
Flashes if the phone is using a Home
type
system
(not the Home system) or when the phone is
using a “preferred” network (see “Carrier Selec-
tion (Menu 5 2 1)” on page 49).
Blank if the phone is using a non-preferred
network.
A call is in progress.
The phone is in alpha mode; you can enter letters
and see names.
Indicates that you have received a voice mail
message.
Indicates that you have received a short text mes-
sage. Blinks when Messages list (memory) is full.
Indicates menu or memory location number; may
indicate number of unheard voice messages.
and bar indicate the cellular signal strength of the
location where you are using your phone.
and bar indicate the battery charge level. When
the battery is fully charged, the whole bar is
displayed.
