Note that multimedia messages cannot be received during a call, while using a
game or another Java application or when you have an active browsing session
using the GSM data bearer (see Keying in the service settings manually on page
81).
Because delivery of multimedia messages can fail for a variety of reasons, do not
rely solely upon them for essential communications.
Sent and received multimedia messages use shared memory, see page 10.
The default setting of the multimedia message service is generally set to on.
The appearance of a multimedia message may vary depending on the receiving
device.
Copyright protections may prevent some images, ringing tones, and other content from
being copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.
Writing and sending a multimedia message
Before sending a multimedia message, read Notes for sending a multimedia
message on page 44.
1. Press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages, Multimedia msgs. and
Create message.
2. Key in a message. See Writing text on page 26.
To insert an image, press Options and select Insert.
Open a specific folder in the Gallery menu, scroll to the desired image or
sound, press Options and select Insert.
