Tone settings
You can change the tone and vibrator settings of the currently selected profile.
The same settings can also be found in the Profiles menu, see page 58.
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and Tone
settings. Select
• Incoming call alert to choose how the phone notifies you of an incoming voice
call. The options are Ringing, Ascending, Ring once, Beep once and Off.
Note that when the fold is open, all ringing tones are played in ascending
mode.
• Ringing tone to select the tone that rings when you receive a voice call. To
select a ringing tone from the Gallery menu, select Open gallery.
• Ringing volume to select the volume level for the ringing tones and message
alert tones.
• Vibrating alert to set the phone to vibrate when you receive a call or message.
The vibrating alert does not work when the phone is connected to a charger or
car kit.
• Message alert tone to select the tone that you hear when you receive a
message. To select the tone from the ringing tone list, select Ringing tone and
the desired tone.
• Keypad tones to select the volume for keypad tones.
