To select the locations you want to share with your friends, select Share my
location > My shared landmarks, and select the landmarks from the list. Select
Options to edit, mark, and unmark items on the list.
Whenever you are online with the Contacts on Ovi service, and in one of the selected
locations, your friends will see your location.
Ovi Contacts settings
Select Options > Settings.
Select from the following:
● Account — Access your account details, and define your visibility to others in a
search.
● Presence — Show information about your location to your friends, and let them
see when you are making a phone call (call status).
● Personalization — Edit the settings related to the startup and tones of the Ovi
Contacts application, and automatically accept friend invitations.
● Connection — Select the network connection to use, and activate roaming
warnings.
Using GPRS may involve the transmission of large amounts of data through your
service provider's network. For information about data transmission charges,
contact your service provider.
● Exit — End all active chats, and close the application.
Nokia account settings
Select Options > Settings > Account.
Edit your account details — Select My account.
Define your visibility in searches — Select My account > Visibility in search.
You must be online to change your visibility.
Presence settings
Select Options > Settings > Presence.
