Fax machine is connected to the “fax” connector of the terminal. The fax machine should be the
G3 type that supports data speeds up to 9600 bit/s. Nokia PremiCell doesn’t support combi-
faxes, i.e. machines that have integrated fax and phone. This is because voice calls cannot be
made from the “fax” connector and vice versa.
Note: Although there are separate connectors for telephone and fax, only one of them can be
used at a time.
