6. Use with computer
With the Nokia PremiCell terminal and a suitable computer it is possible to make data calls and
send/receive computer faxes. Also Short Message Services (SMS) are available through
the computer.
There are two possibilities for connecting a computer to the 09i/18i PremiCell terminal.
1) Nokia PremiCell RS232 data package (Data calls, SMS)
2) Nokia PremiCell Data Suite Package (Data and fax calls, SMS)

guide or the Nokia PremiCell RS232 Data user’s guide.
Note: a normal landline modem is not compatible with the terminal, so you cannot connect it
to the terminal’s ‘phone’ or ‘fax’ socket.
