Roaming options
You can set your device to roam or search for another
network when you are not in your home area.
1. Select Menu > Settings > Network > Roaming options
and one of the following options:
Home only—You can make and receive calls in your home
area only.
Automatic A—The device automatically searches for service
in another digital network. The roaming rate applies
when not in the home service area.
Automatic B—The device automatically searches for service
in another digital network. The roaming rate applies
when not in the home service area.
2. When selecting Home only, select Yes to confirm
the activation.
Roaming alert tones
To activate alert tones to notify you when you are roaming,
select Menu > Settings > Network > Roaming alert tones.
Roam call alert tones
To activate alert tones for roaming calls, select Menu >
Settings > Network > Roam call alert tones.
Service change tones
To activate alert tones to notify you when service changes
entering a home or roaming area, select Menu > Settings >
Network > Service change tones.
