Note that chat is based on SMS messages, and that each chat message is sent as a
separate SMS message. The messages received and sent during a chat session are
not saved.
Picture messages
You can receive and send messages that contain pictures (network service). When
creating a picture message, go to the Picture messages folder, and select the
picture you want to send. Then press Options and select Send to send it. Note that
each picture message is made up of several text messages. Therefore, sending one
picture message may cost more than sending one text message.
Note: This function can be used only if it is supported by your network operator or
service provider. Only phones that offer picture message features can receive and
display picture messages.
When you receive a picture message
To view the message immediately, press Show.
To view the message later, press , and the unread message is saved in the
Inbox folder.
When you save a new picture message, you will need to replace the factory-
installed picture message in the phone.
Options for a picture message
While reading a picture message, press Options and select Delete, Reply, Chat, Use
number, As reminder or Details. In addition, you may select
Edit text to edit the texts within the received picture message.
