Inbox
When you receive a text message, it’s stored in the Inbox.
Your phone will display
Message received
, along with the
text message icon, and you will hear a tone (
depending on
the message alert tone; see page 45
). Press the
Read
softkey to
read messages.

In-call menu
While you’re in a call, you may notice that
Options
appears on your display. Pressing this key will access you
to the in-call menu, which allows you access to certain
features while you have a call active.
When you access the in-call menu, you may notice the
following choices:
Mute
Allows you to mute the microphone; if your
microphone is already muted,
Mute
will change to
Unmute
(see “Microphone” on page 46)
Touch tones
Allows you to manually enter a touch tone
string or search for one in your phone book
(see “Phone
book” on page 51)
Menu
Allows you access to your phone’s menu
Names
Allows you access to your phone book
(see “Phone
book” on page 51)
New call
Allows you to place the call to the third party
when making a conference call
(see "Conference call" on
page 32)
Keyguard
This feature disables the keypad to protect against
accidental keypresses.
