View the Inbox
The number of messages in the Inbox is shown in parentheses on the Messaging
screen. When you open the Inbox, the list of messages is displayed. The newest
messages are displayed first. Scroll up and down to highlight a message. At the
Inbox screen, select Erase > OK to delete the highlighted message, or Options and
select from the following:
Reply—Send a TXT Msg, PIX Msg, or FLIX Msg reply.
Forward—Forward the message to another phone number or e-mail address, or to
upload to your PIX Place.
Lock or Unlock—Protect the message from Erase and Erase All commands.
Add to Contacts—Save the contact information to the contact list.
Message Info—Display sender information and timestamp.
View or play messages
To view or play a message in the Inbox, highlight the message, and select Open. If
necessary, scroll up or down to view the whole message. You can scroll left or
right to view the content of the other messages in the Inbox.
With the message open, you can select from the following:
Erase—Delete the message (messages without sound or FLIX files attached only).
Mute or Unmute—Turn on or off the sound of a sound object (messages with
sound and FLIX files attached only).
PLAY or PAUSE—Start or halt the FLIX playback (FLIX message with FLIX file
attached only).
REPLY—Send a TXT Msg, PIX Msg, or FLIX Msg reply (except FLIX message with
FLIX file attached).
Options—Select from the following:
Forward—Forward the message to another phone number or e-mail address,
or to upload to your PIX Place.
Save Quick Text—Save the message into the Quick Text gallery.
Lock or Unlock—Protect the message from Erase and Erase All commands.
Add to Contacts—Save the contact information to the contact list.
Message Info—Display sender information and timestamp.
The following Options are displayed for specific message types:
Play Again—Replay the attached sound (PIX message with sound only).
Reply—Send a TXT Msg, PIX Msg, or FLIX Msg reply (FLIX message with FLIX
file attached only).
