For each of the above settings you can select Activate, Cancel,
or Check status (to show barred call types).
Within the submenu Cancel all barrings you can cancel all
call restrictions.
Note: When calls are barred, calls may be possible to certain
emergency numbers in some networks (e.g. 112 or other
official emergency number).
Fixed dialling (Menu 4-5-3)
You can restrict your outgoing calls to selected phone numbers, if
this function is supported by your SIM card. To save and edit
numbers on the list, you need the PIN2 code.
Note: When fixed dialling is set to on, calls may be possible
to certain emergency numbers in some networks (e.g. 112 or
other official emergency number).
Closed user group (Menu 4-5-4)
This network service specifies the group of people whom you can
call and who can call you. Network default resets the phone to
use a user group the SIM card owner has agreed upon with the
service provider. A closed user group is indicated by the icon .
Note: When calls are limited to a Closed user group, calls
may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some
networks (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number).
Security level (Menu 4-5-5)
This menu allows you to set the phone security level on to avoid
unauthorised use of the phone. You need the security code to set
the security level. See “Protecting the phone with the security code”
on page 78.
Note: When you change the security level, all the recent calls
lists are cleared.
