Phonebook
Phone numbers can be stored in two locations. You can store numbers in the SIM
Phonebook (therefore the number of locations,length of name andnumber of phone
numbers are SIM dependant). Alternatively you can store phone numbers in the
Mobile Phonebook, this means that if you change the SIM the numbers in the phone
are not lost.
The Mobile Phonebook has the advantage that you can group your phonebook
entries together.
Store a Number
To Store a Number in the SIM Phonebook

From Idle mode enter the phone number and press
A

to select the SIM Phonebook

Enter the name – see “Text Entry” page 42, and press

Confirm phone number and press

Enter location number and press

Youcan choosenot toenter alocationnumber andthe entrywillbe placedin thenext
available location. Simply press

when Any is displayed in the option area.
To Store a Number in the Mobile Phonebook
