Message, Entry Method, Delivery Acknowledgment, and
Canned Messages.
To access the MSG Setup menu:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Messaging.
3. Press for Text MSG.
4. Press for MSG Settings.
5. Press for General or for New Message.
General Options
The following options are available in the General Option settings. These
options allow you to customize options associated with messaging.
Scroll Timer
The scroll timer allows you to set the duration of the scroll before it closes in
the message screen. To access the scroll timer:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Messaging.
3. Press for Text MSG.
4. Press for MSG Settings.
5. Press for General.
6. Press for Scroll Timer.
7. Press the navigation key up or down to select the desired duration
and press to Select.
Message Reminder
This option allows you to configure how often you are notified of new text
messages that are waiting. To access message reminder:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Messaging.
3. Press for Text MSG.
