PROGRAMMABLE BUTTONS LED INDICATORS
The programmable buttons, [Transfer] button, [Hold] button, and [Speaker] button have LEDs that light red, green or amber when
it is being used. The following table summarises the functions of LEDs.
PHONE STATUS INDICATOR
The status indicator is located on the upper right section of the LCD panel. It shows thestatusofthe phoneasdescribed in thetable.
USING FEATURE CODES
Systemfeatures areprogrammed with defaultcodesthat youcan dial to access the features. These are described in the relevant parts of
the guide. However, these codes may have been changed in programming; if so, you may find that a feature does not work as de-
scribed. In suchcases, refer toyour system administrator for the correct codes (or ask them to check with the installation technician
if they don’tknow what they are).
SELECTING PROGRAMMED FUNCTIONS
The most convenient way to select functions on your phone is to have them registered on the programmablebuttons, sothatyou
simplypress the required button.Ifafunctionisnotprogrammed onabutton,itcan beselectedon the LCD panel using the Scroll button
and soft buttons.
An advantage of using the soft buttons for functions is that the programmable buttons can be used to assign more buttons for di-
rect extension selection and speed dialling.
