Touch settings
(Menu 9.5)
Use this menu to change the setting for using
the touch screen.
Calibration
(Menu 9.5.1)
You can calibrate your phone's touch screen.
When you turn on the phone for the first time
or if the screen does not recognise your touches
or reacts incorrectly to your touches, you need
to recalibrate the phone. Tap the cross hair
object firmly and precisely.
Handwriting
(Menu 9.5.2)
You can change the settings for using
Handwriting mode.
•
Style
: select a pen type. You can also select
a line thickness of the pen, or a pen colour.
•
Recognition
: set the number of the text
input fields so that you can enter characters,
switching between text input fields. You can
also select the time interval for entering a
character by tapping .
Light settings
(Menu 9.6)
Use this menu to change settings for the light.
Backlight time
(Menu 9.6.1)
You can select the length of time the backlight
or display stays on.

On
: select the length of time the backlight
stays on.
•
Dim
: select the length of time the display
stays on in Dim mode after the backlight
turns off. After a specified time, the display
turns off.
•
During charging
: set whether or not to
activate Dim mode while charging your
phone.
