4. Using the navigation keys, highlight Phone or Memory Card
and press .
5. Navigate through your phone’s menu tree to the desired file.
• To erase a file, highlight the file to be deleted, and press
the right softkey for Options, followed by for
Erase.
• If the file is viewable or playable on your phone, press
to view/play. Not all files can be viewed or played.
Note: The file manager is capable of viewing Microsoft Office, pdf and
text files, but is limited based on file size and complexity of content.
Specific file types such as music, video and photos have to be in the
correct folder (as described above) for the application to play correctly.
Format
Use this menu to format a memory card that has been inserted into
the card slot. Your handset is capable of supporting memory cards
with a maximum memory of 1 GB.
To format an inserted memory card:
1. Press , followed by for Tools.
2. Press for Mass Storage.
3. Press
for Format.
4. Enter your lock code.
Tip: If you can’t recall your lock code, try using the last four digits of
either your Social Insurance Number or Mobile Directory Number or try
0000. If none of these work, call Customer Service at 1-800-Samsung.
