Backlight
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display screen and
keypad are backlit after any key press is made.
To change the backlight setting:
1. Press , followed by for Settings.
2. Press for Display.
3. Press for Backlight.
4. Press for Main Display, for Keypad, or for
Pwr Save Mode.
5. Use the navigation key to select:
• Flip Open, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, or 8 seconds for the
Main Display.
• Flip Open, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, 8 seconds or Off for
Keypad.
• On or Off for Pwr Save Mode. Turning on the power save
mode will slow down the user interface response in order
to conserve power.
6. Press to save and exit.
You can change the brightness of the LCD screens, making them
brighter or dimmer.
To change the LCD Contrast:
1. Press , followed by for Settings.
