Your Phone’s Security
Creating and Using Special Numbers
Special numbers are important numbers that you have
designated as being “always available.” You can call and
receive calls from special numbers even if your phone is
locked.
You can save up to three special numbers in addition to
your Contacts entries (the same number may be in both
directories).
To add or replace a special number:
1. Select Menu > Settings > Security.
2. Use the Navigation Pad to enter
your lock code and select
Done ().
3. Highlight Special # and press .
4. Select a location for your entry
(13) and press . (The Main
LCD turns off and then switches to
using the Phone Display screen). You must use the
numeric keys on the phone side to enter these special
numbers.
5. Use the numeric keys to enter the number and select
OK (
).
Tip:
You can place calls to only 911, Sprint Customer Service, or
your special numbers when the phone is in lock mode.
Note:
There are no speed dial options associated with special
numbers.
