Messaging
My friends
The My friends function gives you more options
when messaging. You can create a list of favourite
contacts from the phonebook. You can then quickly
access your favourite contacts and choose how you
want to communicate with them.
If your subscription supports instant messaging
services, you can see which of your contacts are
online and what mood they are in. You can also send
and receive messages and join community chats.
Please contact your network operator for
information about My friends configuration settings.

Contacts
You can create a list of contacts - people you want
to send messages to on a regular basis. You can
add contacts from your phonebook or from your
My friends server.
To add a contact from the phonebook

and press
More.

3 Enter the first letters of the contact, select the
contact,

4 When you have selected a contact, you can
choose to subscribe to status information for
that contact. To subscribe, press
Yes and follow
the instructions that appear. Press

if you do
not want to subscribe.

Status
You can view the status of your contacts and choose
to show your own status to others. You can also
change your own status with the help of the following
options:
• Picture – Select a picture from
Pictures or take a
picture with the camera. You can change or remove
pictures.
• About me
– Write a short text about yourself.
• Availability
– State whether you are online.
• Mood
– Select a mood from the list.
