54 Connectivity
To enter settings for remote
synchronization
1 From standby select Menu > Organizer
> Synchronization > Yes.
2 Enter a name for the new account and
select Continue.
3 Enter the settings and select Save.
To start remote synchronization
1 From standby select Menu > Organizer
> Synchronization.
2 Scroll to an account and select Start.
Bluetooth™ wireless
technology
The Bluetooth function makes wireless
connection to other Bluetooth devices
possible. You can, for example:
Connect to handsfree devices.
Connect to stereo headsets.
Connect to more than one device
at the same time.
Connect to computers and access
the Internet.
Synchronize information with
computers.
Use remote control computer
applications.
Use media viewer accessories.
Exchange items and play
multiplayer games.
Before you use Bluetooth wireless
technology
You must turn on the Bluetooth
function to communicate with other
devices. You must also pair your
phone with other Bluetooth devices.
To turn the Bluetooth function on
From standby select Menu > Settings
> the Connectivity tab > Bluetooth
> Turn on.
To pair the phone with a device
1 From standby select Menu > Settings
> the Connectivity tab > Bluetooth > My
devices > New device to search for
available devices.
2 Select a device.
3 Enter a passcode, if required.
To allow connection to the phone
1 From standby select Menu > Settings
> the Connectivity tab > Bluetooth > My
devices.
2 Select a device from the list.
3 Select More > Allow connection.
We recommend a range within 10 metres
(33 feet), with no solid objects in between,
for Bluetooth communication.
Make sure that the device you want to
pair your phone with has the Bluetooth
function activated and is made visible.
