Additional calling functions
Tone signals
You can use banking services or
control an answering machine with
tone signals during a call.
To use tone signals
1 During the call, press More } Enable
tones.
2 Press keypad numbers to send tones.
3 Press to clear the screen.
Notepad
Use the screen as a notepad to enter
a phone number during a call.
To call or save from the notepad
During a call, enter a phone number:
Call to call the number.
More } Save number to save the
number.
Showing or hiding your number
With Caller ID, you can show or hide
your number when you make a call.
To always show or hide your phone
number
1 From standby select Menu } Settings
} the Calls tab } Show/hide my no.
2 Select an option.
Groups
You can create a group of numbers
and email addresses for messaging
% 29 Messaging. You can use groups
(with numbers) to create accepted
caller lists % 26 Accept calls.
To create a group of numbers and
email addresses
1 From standby select Menu } Contacts
} More } Options } Groups } New
group } Add.
2 Enter a name for the group and select
Continue.
3 Select New } Add to find and select
a contact number or email address.
4 Select Mark sev. to choose more than
one contact.
5 Select Done.
Disable tones prior to using the notepad
to prevent them from sounding during
