GPS
Your phone is equipped with a GPS
receiver that uses satellite signals to
calculate your location.
Using the GPS
Make sure you have a clear view of the
sky when using features that require
the GPS receiver to find your location.
If your location is not found after a few
minutes, move to another location. To
facilitate the search, stand still and do
not cover the GPS antenna.
Assisted GPS
With Assisted GPS (A-GPS) it takes
less time to calculate a location.
Google Maps™ for mobile
Google Maps™ lets you view maps and
satellite imagery, find locations and
calculate routes.
To use Google Maps
From standby select Menu > Location
services > Google Maps.
To view help about Google Maps
When you use Google Maps, select
Options > Help.
Driving directions
Wayfinder Navigator™ guides
you to your destination using voice
instructions. A free three-month trial
version of Wayfinder Navigator is
included in the phone.
Some GPS features use the Internet.
GPS antenna area
Contact your network operator for more
information.
