Orange Business Plans
The current promotions on Orange Solo, Venture and Momentum will
now continue to run until 31 October 2008. For all three plan
segments Orange is offering customers who sign up for longer
contracts additional value in their plan, all contracts over 12 months
will receive free Orange Care and the old tenure discounts have been
replaced by additional in-bundle minutes.
Orange Solo
Orange Solo is aimed at single users, who are more likely to buy in a
retail environment. There are three price points and two contract
lengths for these customers, and as a promotion until 31 October
2007 all three price points offer an unlimited shout to make them
competitive with Orange consumer (Animal) plans. In addition to the
unlimited offers all Orange Solo customers qualify for:
free Orange Care, dedicated business customer services, one month
roll over of minutes (and texts on £35/£40), no minimum call charge
and free missed call alerts.
Orange Venture
Orange Venture is designed for the SoHo audience. This audience
typically has up to 10 employees and the companies tend to be run
by an owner-manager. To encourage customers to sign up to a longer
contract Orange is offering customers who sign up before 31 October
2007 extra inclusive minutes on 18 and 24 month contracts. All
Orange Venture customers will benefit from;
free Orange Answer phone, free itemised billing, unlimited calls
between sharers, mid-contract price plan review, dedicated business
customer services, flat rate out of bundle charges, one month roll
over of minutes, no minimum call charge and free missed call alerts.
The number of sharers is dependent on the plan signed up for, all
sharers are charged at £15.
Orange Momentum
Orange Momentum is for larger companies, typically with over 10
employees. As communication between the staff is key to these
customers Orange Momentum offers free calls and texts between
sharers. The contract lengths for Orange Momentum have been set
at 12, 24 and 36 months as companies of this size tend to have an
annual buying cycle, and as a promotion for all customers joining on
a 24 or 36 month contract before 31 October 2007 can chose from
either extra inclusive minutes or unlimited Orange to Orange calls
each month. Orange Momentum offers the capacity for up to 400
sharers with a flat rate sharer fee of £12.50. All Orange Momentum
customers will benefit from;
free Orange Answer phone, free itemised billing, unlimited calls and
texts between sharers, dedicated business customer services, one
month roll over of minutes, no minimum call charge and free missed
call alerts.
Customers signing up to Orange Momentum will be tied to their plan
for the duration of their contract.
Unlimited offers on 18 month contracts
From the 1 September until 31 December 2007 Orange is
reintroducing the unlimited offers on 18 month contracts. The
headline offers are unlimited Orange to Orange calls on Canary £40,
unlimited texts on Dolphin £35, unlimited landline calls on Racoon
£35 and a choice of an unlimited offer on Panther. The unlimited
offers are available to new and existing customers connecting or
upgrading to an eligible Talkplan between 1 September 2007 and 31
December 2007. Subject to terms and conditions.
Magic Numbers
Customers connecting to an 18 month contract will be able to
nominate a Magic Number which they can call without paying.
Customers can add a new number every six months, and if they stay
with Orange they’ll keep gaining more Magic Numbers. Magic
Numbers must be another Orange mobile number, or a landline
number connected to Orange home broadband. To register Magic
Numbers the customer will need to call 150 on their handset or visit
www.orange.co.uk/youraccount
BlackBerry BIS
There are two options to connect to BlackBerry BIS either a stand
alone data only plan or by adding Internet Talk for BlackBerry to a
voice plan. Theses plans have been designed to reward customers
who sign up for over 12 months by offering a sliding scale charge for
the service. The same rates will apply to the Animal plans, however
they will be advertised including VAT. Each price plan option includes
6MB of data, additional data is charged at £1.70 per MB. Please see

Roaming Refresh
Orange is introducing new roaming rates for making and receiving
calls across Europe. From 30 August it will cost 38p to make a call
and 19p to receive a call, per minute. All other costs for using your
phone abroad will stay the same. Orange has also refreshed the
country zones for roaming (calling the UK from abroad) and they are
no-longer aligned with IDD (international direct dialling/calling
abroad from the UK). Please note that rates and countries for the
Orange Business Zone and Orange Zone (Pay Monthly) are identical
so customers pay the same regardless of consumer or business.
Other key points are:
• Orange Business Frequent Traveller - refreshed pricing and
renamed to Business World Traveller.
• IDD - there are no changes to pricing and until further notice, IDD
will still use the old zones.
• data roaming – there are no changes to pricing
