Dial Up Networking over Bluetooth
You can also use Bluetooth to connect the handset to your PC. Bluetooth can be considered
as a wireless replacement for the USB connection and does not rely on the USB drivers or
Join Me software. The Bluetooth connection can therefore be used with MAC computers if
required.
Your Bluetooth enabled PC or MAC needs to have Bluetooth ON and working.
On your handset go to Settings, Handset, PC Connection. Set this to Bluetooth.
Go to Tools, Bluetooth and switch on Bluetooth.
In the Bluetooth Menu go to My Devices and press Search to find your PC or MAC.
Press OK to Connect and enter the same password, when prompted, on each device.
On the PC or MAC you will need to create a new Connection via Bluetooth. This varies
depending on Bluetooth application software but you need to check the correct device is
selected, the Dial Number is *99# and the Username and Passwords are blank. When the
Bluetooth manager opens a connection to the handset you will need to accept the incoming
connection by pressing Yes on the handset when prompted.
The PC or MAC is now connected to the internet via the handset.
