Assigning the character data

Now, we calculate the vertical numerical values of the columns of dots, and enter them

underneath thegrid. Each verticalcolumn (which has amaximum of 24dots)isfirst divided

intothree groups (ortwo groupsfor super/subscripts)of eightdots. Each groupof eightdots

is represented by one byte, which consists of eight bits.
