To add favorite contacts to the People tab
On the Home screen, slide to the People tab.

Touch the small or big Plus icon, or touch Add Favorite.

On the Select a Contact screen, touch the name of the desired contact.

Select a phone number or e-mail address to associate to your favorite contact.
Note If there is no picture assigned to the contact, the next screen allows you to select or take
a picture of the contact.
To place a call or send a message to a favorite contact
On the Home screen, slide to the People tab.
Swipe your finger up or down the screen to scroll
through the favorite contacts.
Touch an icon below the contact name to call or to
compose and send a text or an e-mail message to the
contact.
Note The icons shown will depend on available contact
information. For example, ( ) will be shown if the
contact’s home phone is specified.

13. Sending a Text Message
Easily create and send SMS text messages from your device.
On the Home screen, slide to the Messages tab and tap .
In the To field, enter the mobile phone number of the person you want to send the
message to.
Tip You can also tap To to select a contact from your contacts list.
