13.8.2 Restoring Factory Data
If you reset the smartphone to its factory settings, all of your personal data
stored on the smartphone, including information about your Google
account, any other accounts that you have configured, your system and
application settings, all the data stored on your SD card or on the
smartphone's internal SD card, and any applications you have installed will
be erased. Resetting the smartphone does not erase any system updates
you have downloaded.
1. On the
Settings
screen, touch
Backup & reset > Factory data reset
.
2. When prompted, touch
Reset phone
, and then touch
Erase everything
.
The smartphone resets the settings to the original factory settings, and
then restarts.

14.1 FAQs
How Can I Use a microSD Card to Import Contacts to My Smartphone
from Another Smartphone?
The smartphone supports contact files in the .vcf format only.
1.
Save the contacts you want to import to the smartphone to a microSD as
a .vcf file.
2.
Insert the microSD card into the smartphone and find the .vcf file using
File Manager
.

Touch the .vcf file. The smartphone displays a message asking whether
you want to import the contacts.

Touch
OK
to import the contacts.
Compatibility problems may occur with .vcf files created by different
phones, and certain contact information may be lost when contacts are
imported.
