Caring for the Battery
For best battery performance, follow these
guidelines:
• Only use QUALCOMM battery packs, model
number TABAT0001, and QUALCOMM
chargers, model numbers TATVL0001 or
TADTC0002. Do not use any other battery pack
or charger.
QUALCOMM’s chargers are designed to
maximize the battery life performance.
• Do not charge the battery pack in temperatures
outside of 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C) because
damage could occur.
• Do not use the battery charger in direct sunlight
or in places with high humidity such as the
bathroom.
• Never dispose of the battery pack by a fire.
• Keep the metal contacts at the top end of the
battery pack clean.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or short circuit
the battery pack.
• You may need to recharge the battery if it has
not been used for a long time.
• Replace the battery when it no longer provides
acceptable performance. The battery pack may be
recharged hundreds of times before it will need to
be replaced.
• Do not store the battery pack for long periods in
places where high temperatures frequently occur.
Follow these storage rules:
less than 1 month: -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C )
more than 1 month: -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C)
