Use the contacts list
To enter a number into the contacts
list, in standby mode, select Menu >
Contacts > Add contact, and enter the
name and phone number.
See “Contacts list options”, p. 16.
In standby mode, scroll down to find
the name or number you want.
Press the call key to call the number.
Redialling a number
To redial one of the last 20 phone
numbers that you have called, press
the call key, scroll to the desired name
or number, and press the call key again.
Speed dials
Speed dials must be switched on
before you can use it. To switch it on,
select Menu > Contacts > Speed dials
> On.
You can set keys 2–9 as speed dials
keys. After you assign a number to a
key, press and hold the key in standby
mode to make a call, or press the
number and the call key.
Assign a number to a key
1. Select Menu > Contacts > Speed
dials > Edit.
2. Scroll to the desired key, and select
Assign. If a phone number is
already assigned, select Options to
view, change, or delete the
assignment.
3. Select Assign to SMS for text
messaging or Assign to call for
voice calls.
Answer calls
Answer a call
Open the fold and press the call key.
If you do not press the call key, the call
goes to your voice mailbox. To reject a
call without answering it, open the
fold and quickly close it, or press the
end key.
Adjust the volume during
acall
To increase or decrease the volume
during a call, press the top or bottom
of the volume key. When adjusting the
volume, a bar chart indicates the
volume level.
Tip: To mute the ring tone,
press the volume down key.
Loudspeaker
Warning: Do not hold the
device near your ear when
the loudspeaker is in use
because the volume may be
extremely loud.
To activate the loudspeaker during
a call, select Loudspeaker and close
the fold.
