Keys, indicators, and connectors
1 Signal intensity of the cellular
network at your current location
2 Battery charge level
3 Cellular network in use or the
operator logo
4 Current function of the Left
selection key
5 Current function of the Right
selection key
6 Selection keys—perform the
function displayed above them.
7 4-way scroll key for scrolling
through names, phone numbers,
menus, or settings. Scroll left or
right to adjust the earpiece volume
during a call.
In the standby mode, scroll up or
down to show names and phone
numbers saved in Contacts. Scroll
left to write a message.
8Call key—dials a phone number and answers calls or shows the most
recently dialed numbers when pressed in the standby mode.
9End key—ends an active call or rejects an incoming call. Press to exit from
any function. Closing the fold also exits from any function.
The End key also switches the phone on and off. When the phone is on and
in the standby mode, quickly press the End key to access a list of profiles
(see “Profiles” on page 28), or for 3 seconds to switch the phone off.
10 Use keys 0 through 9 to enter numbers and characters.

and # for various purposes in different functions.
