Profiles (Menu 3)
This menu offers you a convenient way to
customise the alert of your phone to suit a variety of events and
environments.
If you want to change the current Profile being used by your phone,
press the key quickly. Scroll to the desired Profile and press OK.
This allows you to choose another Profile, but not customise it.
TIP: Quick Silent . If you want to activate the
Silent profile quickly,
press and . To change to the General profile, press and
.
Customising profiles
1. In the Profiles menu, the following Profiles list appears:
•
General this is the default setting
•
Silent mutes all ringing tones
•
Meeting quiet beep
•
Outdoor loud ringing tone
•
Pager silent, flashes lights and the number of the caller
•
Headset

2. To customise the profiles, scroll to the desired profile, for
example
General and press Options.
3. Select
Personalise and press OK.
• If you select
Activate, the selected profile is only set on. The
profile cannot be customised.
NOTE: When the phone is connected to the headset HDC-5, the
Activate function will not be available.

Headset will not appear in the Profiles list unless headset HDC-5 is
connected to your phone. However, the settings for
Headset will remain
in the menu once connected.
