■ Converter
Select Menu→Extras→Converter.
In Converter, you can convert measurement parameters such as
Length from one unit to another, for example, Yards to Metres.
The Converter has limited accuracy and rounding errors may occur.
Converting units
Options in Converter: Conversion type, Currency rates (not applicable to
other units), Help, and Exit.
To make currency conversion you must first set the exchange rate. See “Setting a
base currency and exchange rates” on page 159.
1. Scroll to the Type field and press the joystick to open a list of measurement
parameters. Scroll to the measurement parameter you want to use and press
OK.
2. Scroll to the first Unit field and press joystick to open a list of available units.
Select the unit from which you want to convert and press OK.
3. Scroll to the next Unit field and select the unit to which you want to convert.
4. Scroll to the first Amount field and enter the value that you want to convert.
The other Amount field changes automatically to show the converted value.
Press the # key to add a decimal and press the
*
key for the +, - (for temperature),
and E (exponent) symbols.
