This function is used to view, play, delete or edit the
photos, images and sounds you have saved on your
phone.
External Memory
This function allows you to manage the files saved in
External Memory in your phone, to move them to other
folders or perform other functions.
Press the [Menu] Soft key then select 4.Media Gallery
then select 1.External Memory.
To manage the image, photo and music files saved in
your External Memory, press the [Option] Soft key [
(
] to
select from the following functions.
•
Set as: Displays the following subfunctions (music files
are not supported):
Wallpaper – Adds an image or photo to the Wallpaper list in
Display Settings and sets it as the background image shown on
your display.
Contact – Assigns an image or photo to a contact in Contacts.
•
Rename: Renames an image, photo or music file.
•
Delete: Deletes an image, photo or music file.
•
Delete All: Deletes all files.
•
Information: Displays information on an image, photo or
music file.
•
Send via:
MMS – Files are transmitted via MMS.
E mail – Files are transmitted via E-mail.
Bluetooth – When Bluetooth is turned on, this function sends an
image, photo or music file to another Bluetooth device.
•
Copy to Phone: Copies image, photo or music files from
your External Memory onto your phone.
Troubleshooting when a “Check External Memory”
popup window appears
The “External Memory Mount Start” message may appear
when External Memory is pulled out and reinserted, and
the “Check External Memory” continue to appear, in the
following situations:
•
A file is suddenly not saved;
•
The file list does not appear properly;
•
Video clips run slowly;
•
etc.

You must turn off your phone before removing its
External Memory. If not, the External Memory or your phone may be
damaged.
