Menu functions
The following options are available:
•
Current profile
: select a profile.
•
Profile setting
: configure up to five e-mail
profiles. For each profile, the following options are
required to connect to the GPRS network:
Profile name
: enter a name for the e-mail profile.
APN
: enter the access point name used for the
GPRS network address.
Login ID
: enter the User ID.
Password
: enter the password.
DNS1
: enter the primary address.
DNS2
: enter the secondary address.
Setting up the Blocked address list
Use the Blocked address list to reject messages from
e-mail addresses that you specify.
1. From the
Email
menu, select
Block list
.
2. Select
Block address
or
Block subject
.
3. Enter an e-mail address or subject you want to
block.
4. Add as many as ten items.
5. Press <
Options
> and select
Save
.
Clearing e-mail boxes
1. From the
Email
menu, select
Delete all
.
2. Press [ ] to check the message box(es) to be
cleared.
3. Press <
Delete
>.
4. Press <
Yes
> to confirm the deletion.
Push messages
(Menu 5.4)
Use this menu to access messages from the WAP
server.
•
Inbox
: view push messages you have received.
•
Settings
: determine whether or not your phone
receives push messages.
Always
: the phone receives push messages.
Never
: the phone rejects push messages.
Optional
: the phone receives push messages from
the service centre set in this option.
•
Delete all
: delete all of push messages.
You cannot clear the
Inbox
or
Outbox
while an
e-mail is being sent or retrieved.
