3. Select 2:Sounds.
4. Select 2:Ringer Type and then 2:Messages.
5. Select Voice Mail, Text message, or Picture mail and press <OK>.
6. Select the desired ringer category by pressing the navigation
key left or right. Then press the navigation key down to

7. Listen to the available ringer types and press <OK> to select.
To select a ringer type for schedule alarm:
1. From Standby mode, press <Menu> softkey for the Main menu.
2. Select 1:Settings.
3. Select 2:Sounds.
4. Select 2:Ringer Type and then 3:Schedule.
5. Select the desired ringer category by pressing the navigation
key left or right. Then press the navigation key down to
move to
Type. Select the desired ringer type by pressing the
navigation key left or right. .
6. Listen to the available ringer types, and press <OK> to select.
Setting Roam Ringer
You can set the phone to use a distinctive ring for incoming
roaming calls.
1. From Standby mode, press <Menu> for the Main menu.
2. Select 1:Settings.
3. Select 2:Sounds.
4. Select 2:Ringer Type and then 4:Roam Ringer.
5. Select Normal to use a normal ringer or Distinctive to use a
distinctive ringer.
6. Press <OK> to save the selection.
Turning Audible Alerts On/Off
Your phone will beep at you from time to time to let you know
that certain things have happened. You can easily turn these
alerts off or on.
There are four types of the alert available:
. Minute Beep: You can set the minute beep options to sound
an alert 10 seconds before each elapsed minute to remind
you of the length of the current call.
. Service: A service alert is two short beeps that sound
when the phone experiences a dropped call or failed call, or
the phone enters or leaves a service area.
. Connect: You can set the phone to sound when your call
is connected to system.
. Sig. Fade Tone: You can set the phone to sound when your
call is disconnected.
. Power On/Off: You can set the phone to sound when your
phone is powered on/off.
To turn each alert on or off:
1. From Standby mode, press <Menu> softkey for the Main menu.
2. Select 1:Settings.
3. Select 2:Sounds.
4. Select 3:Alerts.
